Installation

Please make sure you installed the [Requirements].
The user running the webserver Needs to have write permissions in the salonerp root Directory, /php and /media.
Download the latest release of SalonERP and extract it in the htdocs Folder of your webserver.
Open a Web browser and navigate to the SalonERP main page: e.g. http://myserver.com/salonerp, http://localhost/salonerp.
When installing, you can choose which database engine to use.
Currently we support SQLite and MySQL.
If SQLite is chose, a .sqlite file will be created in the project root folder.
If MySQL is chose, you will have to create a new database schema. Also you will have to provide the server name along with an user and password.
After filling the data press submit.
If the database configuration settings are correct, the schema will be updated with the tables.
You will get a message and can follow the link to log in.
