Configuration

Initial Configuration

After logging in to SalonERP you can see the main user Interface. But before SalonERP can be used it must be configured with your business information. In order to do so click on Properties in the top right Corner.
The properties window will open. Please fill in the fields. The following fields might need an explanation:

• Company Name, Tax ID, Address, Telephone, Homepage: Those fields are displayed on invoices and reports.
• Tax Name, Tax in %: The tax of invoices is automatically calculated using the tax in %. Finally, it Looks like Tax Name: XX% e.g. MWST (20%): 73€
• Calendar start time, calendar end time: These times are used for the calendars to Highlight the working hours.
• Show months: Here, the number of months to be displayed on the left side can be set.
• Currency: This value is shown on every invoice and Report for Money values.
• Employees: You Need to create at least one employee to use SalonERP

Employees

Before using SalonERP you have to create at least one employee in order to be able to create a new Event. To do so, you can go to Properties and go to the Employee section. When you click in Manage a new window will open where you can add employees.
After adding some employees to the database, the main view displays the selected employee timeline, whether Weekly or Daily. You can also change between a single employee's timeline or an overview of all the employees.

Products and Customers

In SalonERP it is very easy to add or modify products or customers.
The first possibility is via the main menu. Using the main menu it is also possible to list all products and customers. To modify a product or customer you just Need to click on the desired product or customer.
The second possibility is by creating a new Event. In the create Event window it is possible to create new customers and products by clicking on the "+" Symbol. To modify a customer or product you first Need to select the desired product or customer in the Combobox and then click on customer/product left to the Combobox.
