I talked to Sailrite about possibly cutting out some fabric for me and they had no interest. It wasn't even sail related. (they are about 30 miles from me) I would call some sewing shops (contract sewing) and see if have the equipment and interest in cutting out your sail panels. I suspect that if you keep looking you will find someone with a cutter/plotter who will cut the panels for you. Something to keep in mind is that you really want the panels cut with some type of hot knife, rather than them just being cut. Cutting sailcloth with a hot knife is really not that hard so you might want to look for a company who can just prints/plot your sails and plan on cutting out the sail panels by hand. The largest panels span the entire width. I have spoken to some sailmakers here in San Diego, California, USA, but none of them are interested in my project. How can I get my panels cut and plotted? If cutting and plotting is not an option, I am interested in just having my panels printed onto my sail cloth. > > Thank you, Doug. > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most > engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot > _______________________________________________ > Sailcut-users mailing list > Sai...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sailcut-users |
