I have been using Sagehumbs for years on Windows 7, 8, 10 and it has always been amazing with Adobe Photoshop Documents (.psd)... but for some reason I could never get it to work with Adobe Illustrator (.ai).
I verified the list and made sure the .ai box was checked,
then I went back and checked all the boxes to be sure.
Then I increased the maximum size of image file to 2000mb and 9000mb to be sure,
my Ai files are just 1.2mb so it can't be that.
What can I try next?
Is there a setting inside SageThumbs I'm missing?
Is there a setting in Windows that needs to be changed?
Do I need to change a file setting inside Illustrator?
Are there different variations of the same .ai extensions?
Do all the elements need to be inside the canvas?
Same issue with me...Windows 10 64-bit; Adobe CC 2019 on a Dell laptop. I've tried everything but no AI thumbnails work. Turning PDF compatibility on and off; changing the image file size, etc. It used to work awhile back so not sure what has changed.

Please fix this.
Sad there is no feed back nor a proper page for this app. Dont see thumbnails for ai files even when ghostscript is installed
The SageThumbs is just a shell for anymore not updated and not supported graphics library - GFL Library. So image format compatibility questions has not point discussing here.
Anyway I can try to confirm a compatibility issue if you provide a sample problem .ai-file.
