#102 Old style projects don't open well in linux/unicode builds
When opening a 'old style' project file, many properties (eg theme colors) do not get loaded. This can easily be tested by opening the demo dataset forest of goettingen [1]
If this project is opened in a windows build and saved again (xml format) it does work fine.

I just tried to open the project with a recent linux build from trunk, but I can not reproduce the problem. Everything gets loaded correctly, or at least similar to a windows build. Would be nice to upgrade the project / demo to reflect recent changes in the GUI, but I don't think that this is a bug but rather a feature request. I'm closing this report, please report back in case you still encounter problems.
