It seems that upgrading Java from 1.5.0 to 1.5.0_02
disables Safepeer from blocking IPs. Azureus was
running all the time for a few days - normally there
would be several blocked IP, but there were 0/0/0.
Software: Java 1.5.0_02, Azureus 2.1.0.4, Safepeer
2.5.1 with blocklist read from file on HDD.

You should upgrade Azureus to a newer version

I too have the same problem, with latest Java + Azureus
version. This was noted on a system which was just
reinstalled with all the latest patches / updates for the OS
(Win XP) + latest Java / Azureus as of about 1 week ago.

Safepeer does not seem to work / no IPs shown in the IP
    Filter list either.

Same pb with jre 1.5.0_06 azureus 2.4.0.2 and safepeer 2.5.1

=> The readme file tell people to place plugin's files in
    <Windows drive>/Documents and
    Settings/<username>/Application Data/Azureus/plugins/safepeer/

But azureus says that "shared" plugins must be placed in
    C:\Program Files\Azureus\plugins

I think this is part of the problem. I try both of the paths
    but it doesn't change anything.

It seems to work again with java 1.5.0_07, FWIW. Is this
    project toally dead?

safepeer is not filling ipfilters with a block list. is there a way I can download a block list and insert it into azureus without entering every single ip range my self?
