Hey Maxim,

I am wondering if it's possible to add an abilty to scan the maximum peak level of a dsd track (or an album selection), in respect to whatever filter and resolution selected, and override the volume (dB) level.
I've learned that no level is a "one size fits all" and it would be awesome to get the most level out of an album when I convert to PCM.

Thank you for your time.

Parker

P.S. It would be nice to have an option, in PCM mode, to select 24 bit or 32 bit output, as it used to be 24 bit and now it is fixed to 32 bit output when I convert to FLAC (not sure if it has anything to do with flac supporting 32 bit now or if you modified bit depth in a later version).

ReplayGain is implemented for DSD tracks. It uses current DSD2PCM parameters even when playback mode is set to DSD.

Output bit depth parameter in foobar converter plugin is for that, foo_input_sacd can't do this because it's not an output plugin.

    Hey Maxim,
The ReplayGain works... but it completely ignores the volume level I set.
It scans at 0dB instead of whatever output level I set in the plugin, so it renders it unproductive for my use case.
If there was a way that replaygain is used after the chain of output level, it would prevent me having to convert to pcm, scan, delete if too loud or quiet, and convert again until I find the optimal output level.
Also, ReplayGain completely overrides the level setting so I have to delete replaygain information in order to amplify the audio before converting.

    Thanks for the information!

    Parker

Ok, I can add some advanced option to apply ReplayGain after output level adjustment parameter.
