Many libraries & commands which communicate with Amazon web services will read access credentials from the AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID and AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY environment variables. Enabling support for these in addition to the s3cfg file makes it easier to use s3cmd in a script with other AWS commands.

    I second this feature, already using the attached patch and works seemless. Any update on merging it with trunk?
