#157 Exclusion starting with a dot not respected

Exclusion rule '.' does not work whether used inline as:
--exclude '.'
or in a file
--exclude-from /path/exclusions.txt
where exclusions.txt contains:
.*

My aim is to exclude files and folders such as ".picasa".

Please try with 1.5.1.2. I believe I've fixed the exclusion handling in this release.
