Hi as the title implies, i want to swith to mysql database with the last version of the runawfe. The problem is that i dont find the hibernate.cfg.xml file in the conf directory.

Since version 4 packaging of the application has been changed.
Now all files (including configuration) packaged in runawfe.ear file.
This is just archive, you can change interested files in it.

It's possible, but it's not easy.
The most reliable way to switch from one version to another is to use two systems (3.6 and 4.3) at once for some time:
3.6-for older instances
4.3-for new instances
