Rufus version: 0.6.5
OS: Windows XP Home, SP2
Bug 1:
Status text not clearing.
I bring this up way too often, but at one stage when I
was sent a test build for this bug it seemed to be
fixed, but in 0.6.5 it was even worse than before, with
all messages pertaining to the message tab not clearing
until I mouse over an icon.
Bug 2.
Values don't add up.
I don't think I ever rememberd a time where any values
actually matched each other on the GUI. KB/s down/up
never matches the total KB/s down/up when looking at
the people I am connected to, which in turn doesn't add
up to the totals displayed elsewhere. I would have
thought each GUI component would work with common
values but I guess not.
Bug 3.
Multi file torrent manager.
Unchecked files will still download, and choosing to
downloda with a "custom order" doesn't seem to do much
either, although it is listed under a "preferences"
heading so i'm unsure if it is supposed to strictly
downloda in the given order or just do the best it can.
Bug 4.
Auto resuming torrents.
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, If no torrents
are active and I try to pause one, it will
automatically resume, and run through the hash check
again. First of all if I am pausing a torrent I don't
want it to immediatly start again, I want it to
actually pause until I am ready to resume it. Second,
why is an entire hash check needed once again just
because the torrent was paused?
Thats all I can think of at the moment, I love using
Rufus, but it seems i've come to just accept these bugs
and work around them, which really isn't what I should
have to do. I have quite a large amount of time off and
would be glad to help test out test builds, to get
these bugs fixed.

Hey,
Is bug 1 still an issue in 0.6.9? I have made more changes
to the code which might fix this. I really can't workout
what is wrong as I'm using the wxpython status bar function
as described in their documentation. It's strange that it
worked in the prebeta I sent you and not in 0.6.5 as the
code was the same in both versions. I want to squash this
bug as it should be a simple fix. Tell me how it goes.
Thanks
