#4 debugger does not work

I am new to ruby and I am trying to learn it with the rde editor.

I have installed 1.1.1.1 rde and I have also installed the latest ruby installer.exe.

when I use the debugger F9 key I always get error message
e.g my program is

puts "Hello"

I press f9

I get
a popup message with a white X in a red circle and
???? c:\docume~1\devsup~1\locals~1\temp\rbEFE.tmp ????????

I also get
c:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/ubygems.rb:10:require 'rubygems'

why am I getting the error message ?

don't use this RDE crap. I too had problems posted in this forum, got no replies too, that was some months back. I recommend that you use Netbeans instead, they support ruby and Jruby nowadays. hope this helps.
