#1 Incorrect drive size
Hi,
I have a 4040 model that i am trying to upgrade to 320
hours using two 160G Maxtor drives.
I downloaded and used RTVPatch2.1.3beta for this
purpose. However, the new drives display as 137G
drives instead of 160. The log says something about a
possible "overflow" situation. I thought that i might have
issues with my IDE setup. So i changed all possible
combinations, but this had no effect. I decided to use a
different computer, and then another computer, and then
a fourth computer, but all four computers had the same
behavior.
What could be wrong here? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
The first three computers that i used were running
win2000 professional. The fourth was running Win XP
professional.
