Hi! It's a problem with the inlining in LXRT. It should work with the standard configuration of RTAI. You may have selected 'Enable extended configuration mode' and then changed 'Inlining mode of user-space services'. I think the default inlining mode is 'conditional inlining'. And with conditional inlining the compiler may decide upon the optimisation to inline or to not. Please check if you are using RTAI standard configuration. And ensure that you don't have accidently CFLAGS set.
