I would like to see an option for splitting the window
so that it's possible to have more than document
visible at the same time.

(Apart from that, I must say that RText is a great
application. It feels much lighter and cleaner than
JEdit, and runs without any exceptions on the old
Solaris systems I have to work on.)

Thanks for the complements! Yes, a split window would be a
great addition, even if it were somewhat limited in
functionality (e.g., it could only be split once).
