Hello everyone, I'm currently using RSSOwlnix as my RSS reader, and I'm encountering an issue when trying to subscribe to the following feed: https://www.hket.com/rss/world The program returns the following error message: "Server returned HTTP Status 403 (https://www.hket.com/rss/world: Forbidden)" Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it? Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, I downloaded 'RSSOwl' tonight and noticed that it came with quite a few 'default' RSS channels attached. I publish a daily news site that provides RSS feed as well and I was wondering what is involved in requesting that my site's RSS feed be included in the default channels that come with 'RSSOwl'. Could anyone provide some insights? Thanks!

  • Ox Kuz Ox Kuz posted a comment on discussion Help

Hi all. Does RSS OWL have any sort of workspaces? Like separate projects zones so one could split RSS feeds for one project from feeds for another? RSS Omea has it but it doesn't take in half of the feeds RSS OWL perfectly accepts. If anyone knows why, by the way, I'd widely appreciate any suggestion on how to deal with this. Anyone knowing both RSS readers - OWL and OMEA here? Or at least one of the readers fans?

just use rssowlnix then. since you have java 64bit you just download rssowlnix x86_64. it works with java8+ so no problem there. after moving the rssowl database over (see release page or https://github.com/Xyrio/RSSOwlnix/issues/89 ) it should work. btw you can also put the jre or jdk into a folder inside the rssowlnix folder so this path exists: RSSOwlnix\jre\bin\java.exe. same works btw for rssowl too using a jre 32bit.
