Category: Crashes Group: v1.6.0.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Mr. Gunn (mrgunn) Assigned to: Torsten Rendelmann (t_rendelmann) Summary: Application crashes while refreshing feeds upon first run. Initial Comment: To Reproduce: Install 1.6.0.0 on Vista without uninstalling 1.5.0.17. Run application, app will hang about 15 seconds into refreshing feeds. Error Log: Description: Stopped working Problem signature: Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: rssbandit.exe Problem Signature 02: 1.6.0.0 Problem Signature 03: 47728223 Problem Signature 04: NewsComponents Problem Signature 05: 1.6.0.0 Problem Signature 06: 47728209 Problem Signature 07: 4f3 Problem Signature 08: 0 Problem Signature 09: System.NullReferenceException OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.4 Locale ID: 1033 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Mr. Gunn (mrgunn) Date: 2007-12-31 15:35 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1933848 Originator: YES After uninstalling and re-installing, I got the same error twice, but not the third time. I believe this error to be related to refreshing having a large number of feeds to which I'm subscribed, because feed refreshing slows around the 15000 new item mark, and the app goes through periods of (Not Responding) displaying in the toolbar before the number of new items updates, starting around 18000 items. It also seemed to take a little longer for the crash to occur each time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=615248&aid=1861534&group_id=96589 |
