Gary, The plane wave option in sfeikonal does only vertical plane waves at the moment: compare sfspike n1=100 n2=100 d1=1 d2=1 | sfeikonal | sfcontour | xtpen and sfspike n1=100 n2=100 d1=1 d2=1 | sfeikonal plane2=y | sfcontour | xtpen One could probably modify it to include the ray parameter.
