I think it would be great if your component would query the wow armory to get the guild and characters list. That would make it much easier and fast for creating new raids. You could always look at the code from http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/sports-a-games/world-of-warcraft-game/16627. Their component has that ability but I don't like their layout and raid creation features.
