I'm using Roxterm 2.6.5-1 from Ubuntu 12.10 and have an odd bug. If I start typing during a long-running command and hit enter before I get my next prompt, when the prompt does appear it acts as if I hit tab instead.
For example, I run 'sleep 5' and type 'ls<enter>'. When the next prompt appears, it says 'ls' and shows all the commands starting with 'ls' as if I'd typed 'ls<tab>'.
I've tried:
* removing my .bashrc and .bash_profile to make sure there's nothing odd in there
* changing input method from 'Default' to 'UTF8'
* changing my Keyboard Layout in Gnome Control Center from 'English (US)' to 'English (Macintosh)'
Nothing's had any effect, unfortunately, and as far as I can tell this is a problem in Roxterm. Is there any more info I can give to help debug and fix this?

Is it roxterm-gtk2 or -gtk3 or both? Can you also try gnome-terminal, xterm and the console?
I've had this problem long enough that I thought I remembered testing in
xterm and console and not seeing this behavior, but just stubbornly
checked and it persists there.
So I guess it's not roxterm. I'm sorry to waste your time. If you happen
to have any tips for how to fix this I'd love them - googling for this is
basically impossible given the generic nature of the terms involved.
