Question number one is, does ROX > run on amd64 properly?? or should I test with i386? It should work. ROX-Session is Python, so it shouldn't care what architecture it's on. There are no x86_64 binaries at present, but you can always compile from source by right-clicking where it says "(choose)" in the Version columns. There are various possibilities for making binaries: - Use the SUSE build service / Ubuntu PPA / etc. That will build RPMs or Debs, but the binary inside should work anywhere. - Set up a cross-compiler (so I can build x86_64 binaries on my i386 machine). Anyone have experience setting this up? - Get someone with an x86_64 machine to publish the binaries they build (click on "Publish" after the build is done). - Run gcc in an x86_64 emulator. > Myself and some other users would like the "Complete" all-ROX > experience brought to Ubuntu. Writing custom software is easy, but then you have to support it for years, which takes time away from other things (like developing ROX-Filer).
