As a future enhancement, and I'm not sure how to do this atm, I'd like to
be able to position and align the over-expanded image in one of nine
possible locations:

Center image (current default)
Align top left corner
Align left middle
Align left bottom corner
Same for right side
Align top center
Align bottom center

The rationale for this is that sometimes, a desired part of the image goes
off the screen as a result of the image expansion. This tuning enhancement
would permit users to align the focus so that the "important" parts of the
image remain visible.

Several graphics programs use a pictorial representation of the alignment
and that would work here. The difficulty is presenting the choices in a
logical and user-friendly way when "Fit" is selected.
