I'm running Slackware 10.2 with updates, IceWM 1.2.23, and RoxFiler 2.3 with the refresh patch. My rox environment is setup as follows: XDG_CONFIG_DIRS=/etc/xdg XDG_CONFIG_HOME=/home/<user>/.config CHOICESPATH=/home/<user>/.Choices I also have symlinks in CHOICESPATH that point to the appropriate XDG_CONFIG_HOME/rox.sourceforge.net subdirectories. If I right-click and select "Customise Menu..." to create a link, the link is created under XDG_CONFIG_HOME/rox.sourceforge.net/SendTo. This works fine. Here's where I think I may have found a bug: 1) Right-click and select "Customise Menu...", but leave the directory empty. 2) Create the link in XDG_CONFIG_DIRS/rox.sourceforge.net/SendTo/subdir instead, so all users get the menu customization. 3) The customized menu item will not show until you delete the empty link in XDG_CONFIG_HOME/rox.sourceforge.net/SendTo/subdir. It appears that the presence of an XDG_CONFIG_HOME/rox.sourceforge.net/SendTo/subdir (empty or not) hides the system-wide XDG_CONFIG_DIRS/rox.sourceforge.net/SendTo/subdir. Perhaps this is by design, but shouldn't it work just like the "Send To... " where the user's SendTo items appear first in the list followed by a separator, then the system-wide SendTo items? Also, shouldn't "Customise" be spelled "Customize"? Thank you in advance for your assistance, Peter |
