I have made a patch for this. It adds entries in ROX-Filer options GUI for Top,Bottom,Left,Right panels. ROX-Session's RunROX script should be changed so that "-b Default" option is removed (this is taken care of by rox itself, as "Default" is the default value of panel_bottom). A more elegant widget than entries would be drop-down menus that shows all available panels, and entries for "NONE" and "NEW", where NEW brings up a dialog asking for a new name. Or maybe use a combo-entry-box that allows setting to empty (for no panel) and then simply enter a panelname manually to create one if not existent... This is somewhat over my skills though, as I'm totally unexperienced in gtk programming with C. But I think my attached patch is better than having to copy RunROX to ~/Choices/ROX-Session/RunROX and edit it to use the panel layout you want! Patch attached. /Jonatan -=( http://kymatica.com )=- |
