Hi list, I think I encountered a bug ! (this is so rare that I'm kind of happy of its discovery, if it's not already known =). I've got a simple directory named "Images". Fixing the .DirIcon didn't work, actually I noticed it was because of its flags: $ ls -lad Images drwxrwxr-x 8 root tof 4096 2004-03-22 19:39 Images The group tof, in which I am, has full rights on the dir. Nevertheless the .DirIcon in it never shows up to me (user "tof"), until I set the owner to "tof": $ chown tof Images $ ls -lad Images drwxrwxr-x 8 tof tof 4096 2004-03-22 19:39 Images And whoop it shows up ! Not a bug I can't live with, but I suppose it isn't normal... I'll try to search through the code. Note that the behaviour is the same when associating an icon (instead of copying the .DirIcon). See you, -- Tof |
