I'm working on a general shell project <http://zoidberg.sf.net> and I was considering doing a rox plugin. It would add appdir and MIME-type support to a basic shell environment. I realise that the rox project would favor more graphical programs, but I think a shell will always be needed on unix-like platforms, so why not make one that is consistent with the graphical parts. Some questions: 1) Is there any specification what a shell should do to play well with rox ? 2) Is there a standard for knowing which terminal (xterm, aterm, eterm) a user likes, or should I make this a Choices configuration. All comments on how to do this are welcome. This would also be the right time for feature requests. -- ) ( Jaap Karssenberg || Pardus [Larus] : : http://pardus-larus.student.utwente.nl/~pardus ) \ / ( ",.*'*.," " Interfaces win users, not internals.
