I'm thinking of the case where somebody starts a new composition with the new factory autoload, but maybe I already covered that case in earlier rants/ramblings. This seems like a strong argument for making that fixed in the autoload we ship with. Default for future new compositions, default for old compositions, including starting with an old autoload. So where does that leave my argument? I guess the thing to do is try having channel 10 float free and not be given any special treatment, and then see what kind of hell actually breaks loose once the idea actually becomes reality. Maybe nothing happens, and you're right. Maybe the sky falls, and I'm right. You're probably right. I'm probably too drunk to think clearly. This is my one drinking day each week, and I'm rather less than sober just at the moment. I suspect I've been kind of a dick, and I apologize. -- D. Michael McIntyre |
