If you are one of those super-keen users who tracks Rosegarden from Subversion (i.e. using svn update and building from source, rather than using a released version or a distro package), please be aware that the SVN trunk is shortly going to be switched to contain the unstable Qt4 code instead of the stable 1.7 series. If are tracking trunk and you want to continue to track the stable 1.7 series, please run $ svn switch https://rosegarden.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/rosegarden/branches/stable_1_7 from within your top-level Rosegarden directory. (Do it now, don't wait for the code to disappear from beneath your feet.) The stable_1_7 branch is unlikely to see much action, but it may be updated with occasional bug fixes. The Qt4 code is not yet in "alpha test" state, but it hopefully won't be too much longer before it is, and it is the branch in which all of the core development work is happening. We're quite keen to make it the new trunk shortly, so that the current status of the project is more apparent from the outside. Chris |
