Mike, quick follow up. I've sorted out a quick workaround for the scrolling challenge, and that's just record as i go, then join segments afterwards. It reduces track size to a single segment height, and all is good to go again. I would have preferred leaving segments as they are, and go through each one on the polishing passes, but the workaround, in reality, offers no hardship, so i'm good to go. Alex.
