Seems that over "ssh -X", when in the matrix editor, Rosegarden perpetually thinks that the mouse pointer is too close to the top-left area of the grid, and so constantly scrolls it in that direction whenever you click on something. Makes it nearly impossible to draw, move, resize, or select notes. (I'm using 1.5.1, in case anyone wonders.) I should have expected as much. Every application which is less than trivial fails to work correctly in one respect or another when run over "ssh -X". It's like xlib doesn't totally understand what's going on or something. |
