I'm still not quite convinced about the indentation problem, or the "global wrapper hack" either one, but after an evening of puttering around, I have concluded: A) The indentation looks close enough, and I'm not interested in spending more time on the matter. B) The reworked "global wrapper hack" is passing the test cases now, except for one edge case I will leave users to discover, which might take years. It is very possible there are other cases, but I'm afraid I have to leave them to future discovery too, or maybe Heikki can look everything over and point out my obvious stupidity and fix it. I could keep screwing around with that, and I hate to release something that carries even a possibility of producing LilyPond output that won't render, but that's free labor for you. I'm just bored with that, and I don't care about any remaining bugs unless I trip over them in the future, so I'm calling it fixed even if there might still be bugs. There could well be. There are several things in there that are there because they seemed to be needed, but I don't really understand why they work, and that's a good recipe for bugs. -- D. Michael McIntyre |
