I still don't have it working, though. I tried loading either of two different soundfonts that came on the sound card's CD-ROM, using asfxload, but got no improvement. I tried kmid, but it gives me *many* "AlsaOut::eventInit : no source" messages when I try to play a loaded MIDI file, and produces no sound.
