I checked in a version of configure.in.in that reports on the following: o Install prefix o No sound, if sound disabled o Arts o Alsa o Jack o ladspa What else should go in there? What else would a user care to make sure exists or is noticed by the install script? If anyone knows how to make the report happen after "checking for po" and "checking for sequencer", let me know (or feel free to change). I used AC_MSG_WARN rather than the probably-more-correct AC_MSG_NOTICE because the latter isn't supported in autoconf 2.13 (still the default on the latest distros), but upgrading is easy enough for developers if we decide it's time to start forcing 2.5. Also don't know if there's a recommended way to do this, but my way Just Works. So. There. Finally, I was thinking it would be better to have configurers --disable-jack rather than --with-jack=no, but that would break [gl][rb]_configure, and I wouldn't want to make you angry, now, would I?
