I'm using Rosegarden with a Swiss-french keyboard (i. e. qwertz). The problem is that rosegarden is (obviously) written for other keyboard (I suppose english, since z, y and x are messing but not sure). I managed to get at least keyboard shortcuts for notation working in modifying the file data/rc/notation.rc (see attachment, I should improve it for other shortcuts less used that don't work either). But I need to recompile rosegarden each time with my own notation.rc.

Is there a possibility to configure keyboard shortcuts ? maybe reading notation.rc on the fly and not only at compilation time ?

Best regards

If you copy your custom notation.rc to ~/.local/share/rosegarden/rc/ (you will have to create the rc/ subdirectory manually) it will be read at runtime instead of the factory version. You have to stop and restart Rosegarden for changes to take effect, but you do not have to recompile every time.

Since we now have the shortcut editor this feature request can be closed
