#1362 Cannot import GM2 device banks/controllers

In 12.12 dev snapshot:

Studio -> Manage MIDI Devices -> Midi playback -> Banks -> Import, pick GM2.rgd
"Error when parsing file .... GM2.rgd. tag mismatch at line 335 column 19"

Unpicking the .rgd file, looks like a stray /> is missing on one line.

I have found the same bug in 12.04 when trying to import banks from a sf2 file. It worked right in 11.11 but in 12.04 Rosegarden stops responding when trying to do this.
Will the correction of the bug mentioned above correct this situation too?

No, the problem discussed in this bug report is not related to your problem in any way.

I tested importing the programs out of a couple of random .sf2 files, and it worked as expected. That code has not changed in a long time, and is probably identical in 11.11 and 12.04.

If you are still having problems with this, please file a separate bug report for your issue, and make sure I am testing with the same soundfont that is giving you problems. Something like this could definitely work with one file but not another.

GM2.rgd fixed in rev. 13120. Please be sure you're using the new repository URLs to check out this latest revision, and you need to delete
~/.local/share/rosegarden/library/GM2.rgd
for the new copy to be recognized.

While I was in there, I modernized the file somewhat, and added key mappings pulled over from GM.
