Of course i've tried downloading the file several times
to different machines. Both with links and wget.
Gzip seems to be the same version in both debian potato
and woody.

I uploaded a new copy of it. I know it was working because I
have downloaded it and extracted it from my home PC the
same day I released the file.
Anyway, I'm not sure how the tar was corrupted, but there is a
new tar file available now. I just downloaded it and extracted it.
It seems to work fine.
