I'm xperiencing missing keystrokes or a delay of keystrokes from my keyboard.
After using the keyboard config tool, and reseting the device from the drop down menu, the keyboard functions normally.

After a reboot, the problem returns and is fixed again with another device reset from the config tool. Re-pluging the device does not fix the issue

Using Roccat...
Suora (Keyboard) & Kone XTD (Mouse)

Could you please make sure you have the latest firmware. If the problem persists please give a concrete example of the misbehaviour.

OK, problem seems resolved, for now, although I'm not certain how...

I did not see a firmware download for the Suora (Keyboard) or a firmware update option in the Suora config application.
I updated the firmware for the Kone XTD (Mouse) from the Kone XTD config application with the firmware file provided from this project.

    Thanks.

    More info on the problem...
Pressing a key would only output the key 1/3 or so times.
Holding down a key would spam the output of the key and then proceed to delay with no output before repeating. Releaseing the key would continue to output the key for a few milliseconds.

Also, pluging in and using an additional "normal" keyboard worked as intended while the Suora did not.

Again, the problem would be temporarily resolved until a reboot, by reseting the device from the config tool.

Problem returns after a random reboot, sometimes fixed after a device reset.
There are no firmware updates for the Suora. Tried to update firmware on a Windows VM 1.10 was the current firmware.

I did notice one time the device tured off and on by itself, like it was reseting the device. After this the problem occured after the next reboot.

You might try different USB ports. 2.0 instead of 3.0; change from/to UHCI EHCI.

Well, you are right, I am currently using USB 3.0
I will try the 2.0 ports and reply if it reocures.

    Thanks.

I've got the same issue, and it is resolved with resetting the keyboard to factory settings, but the issue will reappear every few days.

    roccat-tools-5.6.0
    libgaminggear-0.15.0

    Kernel: 3.19.0-32-generic x86_64 (64 bit)
Desktop: Cinnamon 2.8.6 Distro: Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind, soon after the last comment my problem did return even when using 2.0 ports.
Really dont know what could be causing it, its pretty random.

Had to boot up into a live cd, and the problem occurred, so it's not a driver issue.

Don't know if its a hardware/firmware problem or a kernel problem but there are a slew of other problems as well such as slow input or missing 1st keys and repeated keys for example when typing into a newley opened text field.

I switched to ubuntu and it has seemed to go away, so I'm guessing it's something to do with mint.

    OP Here.
So I tried the keyboard on a Windows system, and the problem came up. So it's not the Linux OS. Also Its not a faulty keyboard as this is the 2nd keyboard it's happened on (I bricked the 1st one trying to recover firmware in a VM and got it replaced)

Although the problem would not retuern before a system restart, the A key would have a seperate key delay to the other keys at random times. Noticable in gaming where starfing would stop and start.

I used a Windows system to delete all profiles, and reset the device. And also deleted all profiles from the Linux roccattools (Suora Config)

I have not had a system reboot in a few days, but the delayed A key seems to be resolved.

So I have a feeling this is somthing to do with the way the Linux roccattools software is improperly storing settings to the device. Maybe key delay or some other corruption, just a guess.

    OP here.
For an unknown reason, the roccat user group was removed causing Permission Errors on application startup, as a result the initial problems listed in this thread have not re-occured after a final device reset using sudo to launch the Suora config tool.
