#66 Power Key / custom scancode

Is it possible to make my F10 key behave as a power key that is present on some multimedia keyboards and recognized by gnome as such?
More over is it possible to add an option for custom scancodes?
If not, do you think this is a task aproachable for someone new to your codebase and would you accept a patch do add a functionality like this?

Would be easier if I knew which device you are talking about. Some support it on easyshifted f-keys, some don't.

The device is my Sova. I know that the hardware itself can do it, since i saw it under Windows (a friends computer).

I see I forgot the settings for shutdown, sleep and wake. Fixed in the next release.
