The machine running ROD did have some problems running out of memory when loading large files, the latest version of ROD however seems to have problems with coping with smaller files. ROD3 sometimes does not accept log files if more than one ROD window is open, this can be rectified by loading files one at a time, which is pretty laborious. Finally the machine ran out or Virtual Memory and when I checked java alone was using 2.3Gb of virtual memory in two batches. This may be causing the problems here.
