#6 Please open as much source as possible
Previously you stated:
This project is a binary-only release as it contains code which I'm unable to share
Please separate the code you are unable to share into a library and then open source the rest. Some open source is better than no open source. If you do this then perhaps the community can find workarounds for the non sharable code.
Perhaps you could explain the nature of the unsharable code. Does it apply to just the GUI app? Or does it apply to the command line utilities cdcontrol and nrfjprog as well.
Could you please just explain what source you cannot open?
Or explain why you cannot explain what source you cannot open. I really don't want to be a PITA, but I also don't see you insist on keeping the source closed and continue to host it on a site for open source software.
Why isn't it to the good of everyone to open as much of the source as you can for a tool you are giving away for free?
