This project is certainly useful, but the lack of documentation is a problem. The rdoc format looks good, but it is a reference manual and is not sufficient to start with the package. A true user guide with a few basic examples should be provided to start with (I can be regarded as a newbie in making R communicate with other programs, which I never did before).
