[Rhide-users] How to compile 1.4.9 under linux?

I could really use some help guys. I am really trying to install the=20 source code and compile it but it's not going. I untarred it into the /root directory and in my bash shell said, "set=20 RHIDESRC=3D/root" then typed make. I also tried "./configure" but nothings going. help!
