Hi all,
RGMP 0.4.0 has been released. This release merges RGMP and YUQIX source
tree so
that RGMP can benefit from the YUQIX develop.
New features of RGMP include:
1. No 4MB RTOS memory limit. You can config GPOS to alloc more memory for
RTOS.
2. Map on need. RTOS only map memory GPOS allocated for it. It is safer
that RTOS
can't touch other GPOS memory.
3. Add new virtual device VDISK. It can be used by RTOS to access Linux
file system.
4. Rewrite interrupt handling system.
5. C++ support for RTOS who want to run C++ applications.
6. TLS support.
7. Linux kernel 3.2.0 support.
And I have updated the RGMP sourceforge to new version. The GIT
repositories' URL
have been changed, sorry for the inconvenient.
YUQIX:
R/W
ssh://<username>@git.code.sf.net/p/rgmp/yuqix
https://<username>@git.code.sf.net/p/rgmp/yuqix
RO
git://git.code.sf.net/p/rgmp/yuqix
NUTTX:
R/W
ssh://<username>@git.code.sf.net/p/rgmp/nuttx
https://<username>@git.code.sf.net/p/rgmp/nuttx
RO
git://git.code.sf.net/p/rgmp/nuttx
RGMP

ssh://<username>@git.code.sf.net/p/rgmp/code
https://<username>@git.code.sf.net/p/rgmp/code
RO
git://git.code.sf.net/p/rgmp/code
You can use the following command to update your local git repository's
origin:
$ git remote set-url origin <newurl>
PS. We will use YUQIX instead of the previous RGMP as our main develop
repository
for RGMP has been merged to YUQIX.

Qiang Yu

Hi guys,
I've been building YUQIX for some time. Now YUQIX has some basic features
like:
1. Virtual memory management.
2. User-kernel space.
3. File system.
4. Priority based task schedule system.
But here remains something TO DO listed bellow:
1. Rewrite virtual device, seperate data transfer from programming
interface.
Data transfer is static queue and dynamic queue; programming interface
is virtual device.
2. Need a more accurat clock system, drop the useless tick system.
3. Implement network stack.
4. Port C and C++ library.
5. Need a log system.
6. common static data structure alloc system.
7. implement task priority based wake up system.
8. timeout semaphore and wait.
9. signal system.
I will continue to working on YUQIX; also anyone interests in any part and
will to spend some time on improving YUQIX please let me know.
PS: The first YUQIX alpha release and document are on the way.
Regards,
Qiang Yu
