#366 mouse-over text boxes empty

I installed the ubuntu trusty package 0.5.5c. If I move the mouse over some icon, a mouseover box shows up, but there is no text in it.

This make the UI hard to use as it is not always clear from the icon what exact function is triggered by clicking on it, so the mouseover text is required to avoid try-and-error.

I attached a small screenshot where you see the empty box. It happens with most, if not all, boxes, so there might be a generic problem.
