Need I translate coordinates using the view window origin and the number of pixels per grid cell? I would be very much obliged to you if you give the short example.

I have some problem with 3D grid representation. My code is following

Agents are depicted a 2d display correctly but 3d display is wrong. Agents lay in plane and some of them out of grid range (its display's coordinates not correspond with the agents coordinate description that I take interactively). Can you help me with it?

Just as a note, this is how I've handled in the past the similar case  
where one removes an agent and of course at that point don't want  
further behaviors executed against it. The agent (or referencing  
List, Map..) has a "delete" marker that is checked for each next..if  
set, that agent (action) is passed over. Then every iteration there  
is a delete sweep that occurs. (Actually I just rebuilt the array as  
that is much more efficient.) For array-backed lists this is  
obviously just as efficient then deleting in each case as the code  
below and you don't have to worry about  an IOOB, or in my case a  
ConcurrentModification... There is the small constant time cost, but  
unless deletions are very rare I think its worth it.

Walter,

Precalculating the size of the loop is probably an example of a  
premature optimization. The work around when removing actions is to  
schedule the action removal for some tick time immediately after the  
action that causes the removal.

deletion then the variable "n" will still reflect the original size and
so allow a bad address.  It looks like this iteration construct, rather
than one using the Iterator class, helps get around the concurrent
modification exception that would otherwise occur when I try to change
the schedule.  If you mean to allow schedule changes within
BasicAction.execute() shouldn't the size be re-set within the loop, or
some other precaution taken?

The caveats were
1.  the ISO-8859 encoding issue mentioned below.
2.  file name case issues (the js.JPG issue was mentioned in a thread
by alexander scheidler in this forum on June 1):
     repast.simphony/repast.simphony.visualization/lib/StarFireExt.jar
was named StarfireExt.jar
=20
repast.simphony/repast.simphony/repast.simphony.visualization/icons/js.
jpg was named js.JPG
3. probably something else I'm forgetting.

I just did a fresh re-install to get back to baseline.  The exception
to your description below is I installed the openarchitectureware
plugin (4.1.2) into eclipse.  After removing the @override in the
offending file, I get 4 errors,=20

unexpected char: 0xFFFD
repast.simphony.score.gen/model/score/tmpl        Java.xpt=20

the other 4 are HTMLDoc.xpt, RepastAspect.xpt, and Scenario.xpt

Each file shows up in the eclipse editor with an unidentified character
(a square symbol), as opposed to the double angle brackets I see in the
Windows version and in linux vi.  Any thoughts?

Summary: Default parameters not being saved / loaded

Initial Comment:
If I change the default values for the model parameters, the new default values are saved to a ".pf" file.

When the model is loaded, the old default parameters are loaded from the ".sbp" file.

To get going quickly you might look at the geographical information
systems (GIS) tools in Repast J, at least for two dimensional
situations.  You could also code your own Repast J storage and displays
for continuous modeling.  However, I'd highly recommend that you
consider Repast S.
