Its easy enough to "trick" the probing mechanism into doing this. Tom (th...@sr...) did something like this in a model he wrote and perhaps he could say more. The idea is to make a dummy parameter and then in the set method execute whatever code you want (e.g. displaying the internal network). This is kind of kludgy though. I have to do some clean up on the Probing stuff today, so I'll add a ButtonPropertyDescriptor that displays some string as a label (such as "showNetwork") and when pressed calls a set method in which you can do whatever you want.
