Hello, I've started investigating Repast Simphony as a means to model and simulate complex system interactions to enhance the understanding of the Enterprise and Business Architecture; however, I am having some trouble getting started. To be more specific I am having difficulty with both Repast.Net and Repast Simphony. In the case of Repast.Net when I open the solution (repast.Net.sln) in Visual Studio it complains that it cannot find the Repast.Net.csproj project file. I suppose I could go through the trouble of rebuilding that project from the Repast.Net/src directory; however, I would prefer not to do that if the project file is available. I know that you are directing your efforts at repast Simphony; however, I would like to use Repast.Net if at all possible since it is my prefered dev environment. With regards to Repast Simphony I followed all instructions to create the simple repast model in the intro tutorial succesfully except when it comes time to run the model. I follow all instructions to create the display and add the GasNode agents When I double click an agent and the probe panek appears on the lower left hand side the Node Pressure input text box is not there. Both labels for the gasNode and the location are there. I then check the Gasnode.Groovy file and the following code is there. @Parameter (displayName = "Node Pressure", usageName = "pressure") public double[] getPressure() { return pressure } public void setPressure(double[] newValue) { pressure = newValue } public double[] pressure = 300 It think that should be sufficient for the tutorial to run, but I am no expert in either Groovy or java. I'd like to be able to continue using Simphony to learn some of the agent modeling techniques and also learn what to do on the .Net side. Hopefully I've explained my problem in sufficient detail so as to help you to help me :). Look forward to your reply. Regards, Manny Bonet |
