Hi, I am working through the standard Repast Simphony PDF tutorial available from the website (http://repast.sourceforge.net/docs/Getting%20Started%20Part%201.pdf ). Unfortunately I have a problem on page 30 (which I've noticed others have had, but Google has not been able to find me an answer). The tutorial says to add a Behaviour (using the GUI interface) and to enter "infrastructuredemo.GasNode" for Step 4c. Despite the fact that Step 4c is missing (????) it appears to refer to what is now Step 4d. Ok. So I try to enter this value for Step 4d ("Type in the Kind of Agents to Watch"). You can't type in this field (making the field caption confusing and redundant), but there is a button that opens a window from which you can select a Type. The type must be searched for, I search for "infrastructuredemo.GasNode" but this does not appear. I have made very sure that I have saved and saved all files again and again. I have tried using two platforms - Linux and OS X. I get the same behaviour. Any help would be much appreciated. (May I also suggest that this tutorial be removed and replaced with something less contradictory to the software itself, as it stands it is very frustrating and confusing) On 28 Jan 2008, at 22:16, Randy Kuhn wrote: > I am running XP on a Windows partition with a MacBook Pro and Apple > keyboard (two different brands, one at the office and other at > home).
