#20 Problems with varchar limits

!st of all, congratulations for the fabulous work you're doing.

I've finally found what i needed to my small home business, but i'm having problems with limited chars (300) when writing my final repair note or any other field.
browsed to db\er\ModelGestRip.sql and found the char limits, but even after changing and restarting i still have the same problem... :(

Can you help me fix? i cant close any repairs because of this. As you might guess, a pc repair with hard changes has to be specified for the costumer because he is paying and he needs to know what he is paying for.

Please help me, any tips?

modelgestrip.sql is only for populating Mysql database, if you want to modify derby database you need something like Razorsql that can alter it, the correct location of the database is db\derby\gestrip
but there are another problem, you need to modify the Jasper report with ireport because i think there is no space left for more than 300 chars when you print
