Hi,
I have some events in google calendar that are birthdays, and they all day property with show me as available. When remote calendar pulls them into Outlook 2007 they have property show me as busy or Tentative. This is a bug, since it should show me as Free in outlook.

Thanks

    Hi,
I've tried myself, and I believe the problem is elsewhere.
In fact, if you choose "Available" in Google Calendar, the status which is written in the iCalendar is "CONFIRMED" (just tried).
Unfortunately, there isn't a 1-1 mapping with Outlook properties, which are Tentative, Busy, Free.
I've mapped in this way the status property:

"TENTATIVE" in the iCalendar --> "Tentative" in Outlook
"CONFIRMED" in the iCalendar --> "BUSY" in Outlook
"NOT SPECIFIED" in the iCalendar --> "Free" in Outlook

Unfortunately, I believe this is the best way to map it...I don't understand why Google Calendar doesn't return it as "not specified", which seems (between the 3 possibilities) the closer one..
Let me know if it's the same for you.
